What is Climate Change?

"Climate change is the change in climate over time whether due to natural variability or as a result of human activity"
.
The earth is warming up because of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted from burning of fossil fuel by vehicles and power plants, deforestation, and other sources accumulating in the atmosphere, acting as a thick blanket over our planet.
.
The consequences of global warming are the increase in atmospheric temperature, melting of premafrost in the Artic and Antartic, resulting in the rise of sea level.
.
The negative impact of global warming on global hydrological cycles affects the amount and patterns of rainfalls causing extreme events such as prolonged droughts or floods.
.
We can fight Climate Change today!!!
